Temporary Services
Services for Temporary Disability Conditions
Have you ever wondered what happens if you or your friend, acquaintance, or roommate have a temporary medical condition that will cause some burden and stress on your academic work (e.g. an accident causing temporary injury to an arm, wrist, or a leg)? Your semester does not have to come to an end for these types of temporary conditions. FSU is committed to supporting the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) SDRC; we want equal and uninterrupted access to all our curriculum, programs, and services. Instead of wondering and stressing over it, contact SDRC either by phone at 850-644-9566 or by email at sdrc@admin.fsu.edu to schedule an appointment and to see what we can do for you. You will need to bring documentation of the disability from your treating physician. Accommodations will be approved based on the documentation that you provide and may include an in-class note taker, a scribe to write your exams, and/or transportation to and from class as needed
