C-1 The law does not guarantee admission to a college or university |
| HS-2 School is obligated to seek out and identify students with disabilities |
C-2 The student is responsible for locating the disability services office and inquiring how they can receive services. |
| HS-3 Obligation to evaluate students with disabilities |
C-3 No obligation to evaluate students with disabilities |
| HS-4 Must alter course content if necessary |
C-4 No obligation to alter content of courses or evaluation system |
| HS-5 Students get support in budgeting their time and planning their school work |
C-5 Students do not receive assistance in budgeting their time and planning school work |
| HS-6 Student's progress is monitored by school staff |
C-6 Student's progress is their own responsibility |
